NEW STATE TROOPER VEST
Sewing machines at Apex are humming filling the latest custom order for 1,000 “State Trooper” vests . The new yellow and black design is not only eye-catching, it also incorporates the latest provisions implemented by the Federal Highway Administration allowing for design enhancements including four-point breakaway. Pressure sensitive closures on the shoulder and side panels allow any portion of the garment that might become entangled with a moving vehicle or machine part to separate or “Break- Away” without dragging the wearer into a dangerous situation. Apex also produces ANSI class 2 and 3 high visibility safety vests and Class E pants in compliance with the new F.H.A standards and holds the Statewide Contract through the Oklahoma Department of Central Services for safety apparel. “We are always pleased, but never surprised to add new customers because quality sells “ says Liz Johns , Executive Director “Our sewing staff takes incredible pride in what they make.
